The Knight

Yet another project inspired by my husband. This time it’s one of his tattoos. Gustavo is a longtime fan of Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch, and on his right arm he has an exquisite full sleeve tattoo of the Hell panel from The Garden of Earthly Delights, Hieronymus Bosch, 1500 - 1505.

I’ve always been curious about many of the creatures from this painting, but this bird/knight/ogre character has always stood out to me.

Gustavo received this printed and painted sculpt for his birthday in 2024.
